A member of the shipbuilding cluster of the Arkhangelsk region - the company "Pomor Shipyard" - completed the classification repair of the passenger ship "Captain Mityagin".
Under the contract, repairs were made to the deck, bulwark, bow fender, mast, ventilation heads, deck closures, internal bulkheads, aggregate replacement of the main engine was completed, the exhaust system of the main engine was changed, door frames in the GP add-in were replaced, repair and hull works were performed, and painting of the hull.
Earlier, in August 2019, "Pomor Shipyard" also converted the vessel in the port of Onega, drafted a stage and moved the vessel to the port of Arkhangelsk for repair. Thus, the company "Pomor Shipyard" provided the customer with a turnkey ship repair service.
All repairs were carried out under the supervision of the Arkhangelsk branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The vessel was handed over to the Customer on 11/08/2019. The repair period for the vessel is 2 months.
On November 11, 2019, as part of the annual survey by representatives of the Arkhangelsk branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the validity of the classification certificate was extended, the vessel is ready to fly on the municipal water transport route Onega - Legashevskaya Zapan.
