Pomor Shipyard will carry out scheduled repairs of the "Victor Buinitsky" research vessel of the Northern branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Marine Rescue Service".

It is planned to carry out work on replacing the outer skin of the ship's hull, repairing bottom-outboard fittings, internal residential and non-residential premises, deck mechanisms, fuel, ballast, and drinking tanks. To diagnose and repair ship power plants and auxiliary mechanisms. Perform cleaning and painting of the hull.

All work will be carried out under the supervision of inspectors of the Russian Register of Shipping. At present, the ship has arrived at the berth of Pomor Shipyard, preparatory work is underway to raise the ship to the enterprise’s SLIP.

Main characteristics of the “Victor Buinitsky” research vessel: Length - 49.9 m, width - 10.02 m, side height - 5.0 m, displacement - 636 tons, deadweight - 293 tons, draft - 3.6 m. Vessel class: RMRS KM L1 [1] AUT2 research. Year of construction - 1986.
